1993’s cult hit, Clueless, remains a classic. Despite twenty-some years, teens (and tweens) born after Y2K and even the iPod, keep this film beloved and relevant. While Clueless‘ costumes, coiffures, and soundtrack have transitioned from the pinnacle of cool to a wonderful nostalgia, the film’s commentary on Gen-X culture, American history, and social constructs (gender, race, sexuality etc.) have far outlived the popularity of the Scrunchie and Snapple.
