Introducing Venus Vocalized !
Small “Venus” statuettes have been found throughout Europe, in places like Willendorf, Austria. These relatively minute figures are known for their more than ample breasts and fecund-looking tummies. These wee stone women are some of the first anthropomorphic statues representing the female form. These “art historical Eves” have always been favorites of mine, and I could think of no better mascot for VV.
